Valarie was born and raised in Port Orange Florida. After high school she attended college at UNCG where she played basketball. She returned to Florida to finish her degree in Marine Biology. She was able to do her internship at Sea World, working with the penguins.
Valarie, her husband, 2 children, and 2 cats recently moved to Mount Pleasant to be closer to family. She has worked off and on in the veterinary field for 15 years, taking time off to be home with her kids while they were young.
Outside of work she is a volleyball coach and spends most of her time inside a gym with the kids. She also volunteers her time to coach kids at the local middle school.
